Damp conditions were predicted to continue along significant areas of Queensland's east this week as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the most rainy day, with continued severe weather risk expected across multiple regions of both areas.

Safety Concern

Medical authorities alerted that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
